Adding your favorite fonts (yes, ANY fonts you want!!) to Planbook.com is super easy and makes such an impact on your lesson plans!
I mean font choice is so important, right?
But in all seriousness, using fonts that are clean and easy to read will help you navigate your lesson plans with ease...and get right to the important work we do.
So let's get started! Head to the Go To dropdown menu and select Display Settings:
Go to the very bottom of the Display Settings and click on Custom Fonts:
You will need to upload your font file (.ttf or .otf):
Name your font, then click Apply:
Your font is ready to use now! Head to a lesson box in your main planbook page. Click on the fonts and any custom fonts you've added will be at the bottom of the list:
Type your text in your custom fonts and adjust the sizes:
Click the checkbox on the lesson box and you will see your new custom fonts, making your plans clear and easy to read!

My favorite custom fonts these days are Century Gothic and Century Gothic Bold. I love the clean look they create (though now I'm wondering if I should switch over to Fjalla One...I'm loving this look!).
Another way I like to create easy-to-read lessons is with icons. I use these Digital Planning Icons to help navigate my plans with ease:
How are you able to hide the class name and section name? Please advise.
Also, do you have more planbook.com tips?
Hi Elle,
Yes, I shared the steps to hide the names in this post: https://ladybugsteacherfiles.com/2021/07/adding-icons-to-planbook-com.html
I also have a post on adding custom colors here: https://ladybugsteacherfiles.com/2021/07/adding-custom-colors-to-planbook.html
