Testing Door Sign
share this timesaver:
I cannot believe it but testing season is upon us once again!
Actually, we are working on our midyear diagnostics for iReady. But this is really just the beginning of a long season of testing.
Luckily, I have something to help…a free testing door sign!
And this resource has a special feature…a place to write your testing session time:
Because, if you’re like me, you might post your sign on your classroom door and promptly forget it is there for several days.
Leaving others to wonder exactly how long is that class testing, ha!!
All joking aside, this is an easy way to post your testing time so others know when NOT to disturb your class…and this frees you up from worrying about taking the testing sign down right after your students are finished!
creating the testing door sign
Creating your sign will just take a few moments!
First, laminate your sign for durability. This will also create a nice dry erase surface so you can write your testing times:
Worried about the times getting erased? You can use a wet erase marker instead:
This will ensure your testing times don’t get erased:
Now add some tape and you are all set! A clean visual sign with important information that will save you some time!
I know how stressful testing can be…I hope this little freebie will be a helpful resources for you! Please click below:
FONTS USED IN TESTING DOor SIGN
I’m always on the hunt for new, clean fonts.
If you’re wondering about the fonts I used, this sign features Jost for the uppercase, bold font and Lexend for the rest.
And while we’re talking Lexend, I have a whole post on this incredible student-friendly font if you’d like to learn more. I’m using for everything these days!

Well, of course you created the cutest testing sing possible. (Who knew a testing sign could be cute?)
Hoping your testing is still going OK.

Thanks! Our testing happens mostly in the Spring, but because of the length of time it takes to grade things, it's spread out in the Spring. Feels like we are testing through the whole Spring, from M-O-Y assessments to E-O-Y!

Great sign!! We do our state testing in the late spring, about a month or so before the end of the year. Good luck to your kids today!! Thanks for sharing your sign-so cute!
Love it! Thanks so much!
Cute sign!! We start testing next week and they have pre-made signs they give us, but yours is much cuter so I may have to put it up as well! Then I will have both doors covered! ๐

Wow! I love this sign. We do not do testing except for Discovery Education on the computer but I'm in 2nd grade. I'll use this great sign for classroom assessments.
Thanks again!

I love the testing sign! Our district starts testing tomorrow too. Luckily, my second graders don't have to take it. Our schedule does get a little up-ended, though, because the rest of the school is testing. Good luck!

Thank you for the sign. Our testing is coming up soon, and I will give the sign to my team as gift. I hope you are having a great year!!
We seem to always have assessments going on…. but we don't assess prior year stuff… that sounds like a lot of extra work!
Thanks for the sign. It's gorgeous. As always!

I Want to be a Super Teacher
We do our assessments on students' learning from the previous year as well, and our assessments are in 2 weeks. We have been prepping for them since the first day of school. This sign will be PERFECT!! Thanks so much sharing Kristen! ๐

Love the sign! Looks much better than the Microsoft clipart version they give us.
Testing in the fall on the previous year, hopefully it's not a state assessment! We take district assessments 3 times a year, in reading and math. We take a Science and Social Studies district assessment at the end of each year. Our state assessment is in April. Happy its the end of April for this school year. Buys me more time to teach after Spring Break.

I love this! Thank you. BTW, I am so going to share with the rest of my school. ๐
