Did I tell you I moved to a new space this year?

I’ve moved a lot over 21 years but this one was hard.

I LOVED our old room and the new one needs a LOT of work. And I find I’m kind of tired at this point in my career…I definitely don’t have that makeover energy I once had when I was younger.

But I’m happy that it’s coming together slowly and I’m proud of myself for letting a lot of it go and not worrying too much.

Type A teacher achievement! 😂

What’s the best way to beat the Sunday scaries?

Well there are lots of self-care things I try…and making checklists is one easy task that REALLY helps.

I like to start listing out my larger tasks first, so I can balance them throughout the week.

(You can see I have a big binder project going on!)

Then I add in smaller, easier tasks for the next day the night before.

This eases my stress so I don’t feel like I’m facing an unrealistic list…just the things I know I can get done in a day.

It also helps me complete larger projects in a more timely manner than I used to 🫠

I use Google Keep for my checklists because there are so many great features 😍
