  1. You have no idea how many hours I have spent looking for the “open 4”, a normal a, g, and t!!! I usually end up whiting things out and using my own handwriting or a cut-n-paste version. I started thinking I was crazy for doing this, but my students need to learn the kid-friendly version. Thank you for making me realize that I’m not the only one!

  2. I love the open 4, however, as a math AIS teacher myself, I am also looking for a nine with the line down straight and a 1 that is just a single line without the serif. Any ideas?

    1. I use Gamja Flower for numbers. I am a kindergarten teacher. Closest I have found with the 1s, 4s, and 9s that we learn.

  3. Do you know of a google font that has a numeral 9 that doesn’t look like an upside down 6? I want more of the straight line down 9.

  4. Love this! How can I get the teacher font in google slides? I use slides a lot for creating since there are so many more options.

  5. Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have been needing this open 4 for a long time. I am a Math interventionist and have been looking for this for a long time. THANK YOU!!

    1. Oh I’m so glad! I use this font all of the time with my math students! Thanks for the lovely comment…and for reading!

  6. OMG!! Thank you so much for this! I am a preschool teacher/ Instructional Coach and having access to teacher font has made creating documents for students such as anchor charts, writing practice models so developmentally appropriate. Thank you.
