Customizable Substitute Stationary {printable}

November 28, 2011
Hey again bloggy friends! Look at me, blogging two whole days in a row! Maybe I’m finally back on track again…well, here’s hoping!

This post is the first half in a two-part series. I do have a personal day coming up in the future and wanted a way to keep my sub plans a bit more organized than usual. And cute of course!

So, rather than the usual basic sub plans I leave behind, I decided to FINALLY buckle down and set up a cohesive (hopefully!) packet to help my fabulous substitute teachers out.

In creating these, I decided to make them customizable, so you could use them as well (if you want, of course!). So, these seven pages come all together in a lovely Powerpoint file that you can type onto directly! Here’s a bit of a preview…

This first page is actually something I’ve always done. It’s a quick overview of our class and any important points I want to touch upon right away (yours will be blank except for the graphics and title!)…
I’m including more pages to share important information, such as Emergency Procedures…

And Find it Fast! (for an overview of items the substitute may need to locate quickly)…

So, like I said, there are seven pages in all and I think it covers most of what I need to share with my substitute. Ohhhh…there isn’t a note form for the sub to write to me for the next day. Do you think I should include that? That’s why I knew this would be a two part post!

The Substitute Stationary is free and can be downloaded from my Teacher’s Notebook store by clicking the button below…

What else do you like to do to prepare your subs? Would you like to see another form in addition to these? Stay tuned for Part II which will include a binder (LOVE binders!)…I hope you all have a lovely first day back tomorrow 🙂

    A note form would be awesome!!! When I subbed last school year, there was one teacher who left a note form and I wrote her a novel because I loved it so much, haha!!

    When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” check box and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Bless you!
