Our mentor texts for Reader’s and Writer’s Workshops have arrived (yay!).
I made some labels similar to the ones used in our classroom library.
The front of the label has this icon:And the back has more specific information:Total side note! That’s a sneak peek of the fabulous contact paper I used on my tables this year!!! More pics to come…
The labels are 1.33″ by 4″…and the font is Pea Heather Michelle from Kevin and Amanda fonts, in case you want it to look similar to this:
I hope you can use these for your mentor texts!

I'd love to use these. I'm unable to open the file. An error is popping up. Thank you for sharing!! 🙂
Hey Ms. Morales, I forgot to change the settings to public–can you see it now? Thanks for letting me know 🙂
If our district hadn't already labeled ours before they even got to our schools, I would grab them up in a minute. Cute. 🙂

Another fabulous item! I'd love to spend a day in your classroom – I'd be learning as much as your lucky students!
Thank you for sharing! You wouldn't happen to have a handy list of which books are good for mentoring which genre study would you?
you are so smart to now label your pictures with your blog name. First because of pinterest and also to keep others honest! 🙂 Have you blogged about how to do that? 🙂hint hint,Reagan
Great labels! Thanks for sharing!
